Residential Development Utilities Installation

Cumberland Ridge Subdivision

London, KY • Completed 2024

28-lot subdivision development including roadway, water, sewer, and lot grading on a challenging hillside site. Site work included over 80,000 cubic yards of earthwork, 3,800 linear feet of water main, 4,200 linear feet of sanitary sewer, and a stormwater detention basin sized for the full build-out.

We coordinated with the engineer, county, and utility districts to deliver the infrastructure on schedule, allowing the developer to begin home construction on lot 1 within four months of mobilization.

Commercial Development Site Preparation

Laurel County Retail Pad

London, KY • Completed 2024

We handled the full site package for a 4.5-acre commercial development off Highway 192. The site required substantial cut-and-fill balancing, a 280-foot retaining wall pad, and a stormwater detention basin engineered for a 100-year event.

Project delivered on a tight 90-day window to meet the tenant's planned opening date.

Land Clearing Site Preparation

Whitley County Homestead

Williamsburg, KY • Completed 2023

The owners had purchased 40 wooded acres and wanted to build a custom home without losing the character of the land. We worked closely with them to selectively clear a 12-acre area, preserving mature hardwoods around the homesite.

Work included a 1,200-foot gravel driveway, building pad, and a level area for outbuildings — all completed without damage to the surrounding woods.

Somerset Warehouse Expansion

Somerset, KY • Completed 2023

A growing distribution business needed to nearly double its footprint without disrupting daily operations. We sequenced the work to keep their existing loading docks operational throughout construction.

The expansion included a precision-graded slab pad, a sunken dock area with retaining walls, relocation of an existing sanitary lateral, and storm drainage tied into the regional system.

Corbin Farm Pond Restoration

Corbin, KY • Completed 2023

A 2-acre farm pond that had silted in over decades was returned to full storage capacity. We dewatered the pond, removed accumulated sediment, reinforced the existing dam, and constructed an engineered emergency spillway to current standards.

The owner now has a fully functional pond with proper overflow protection and improved access for cattle.

Utilities Installation Excavation

Manchester Utility Extension

Manchester, KY • Completed 2024

A new residential corridor needed reliable water service. We installed 6,300 linear feet of 8-inch water main, 14 fire hydrants, and 22 service stubs along an active county road — coordinating closely with traffic control and the local water district.

Two road bores were required to cross paved sections without disturbing them. Full pavement and shoulder restoration was completed within 24 hours of the bore.
